This week has been so busy.. 

I am behind on editing, behind on laundry, behind on everything. and i couldn't even tell you why? I normally am on top of everything :( I think it has something to do with the fact that i had my period last week and i just felt horrible.. yucky miserable crampy.. just yucky. That and Nick got paid so we were out running around a little bit more... any free time i have has been spent with family or doing things around the house.

Last Thursday me and Nick got into a huge fight.. he slept on the couch and i refused to be nice. I do that the day before my period.. and then always feel horrible afterwards. We made up and things are great now. Last Friday I spent the day paying bills, cleaning house, buying groceries, and doing laundry. Fun fun. Then Saturday we went with Kristen to a place called Cakes by Noor which is where the above picture was taken.  Then we went to Kohls and I got some picture frames and such. Nick got home and we went down to Kristens house [his parents live with them] and spent the night. They live 45 minutes south of us so it is a little bit of a drive to get there but it was fun. Sunday we spent the day with family and went to a family dinner where Nick got to see his cousin Brian who he hadn't seen in months. It was a good time :)

Kayleigh [she is 2 months old and was 7.9 at birth and is 10.9 and 23 inches now].

She is Nicks cousins baby.

Monday we just hung around the house because i wasn't feeling really great and didn't feel like getting out and about. Tuesday we went to walmart and got Tangled and some other stuff we needed and then Wednesday Kristen came over in the morning for a few hours until she got called into work. So we went with Nick to eat lunch and then to the party place and to get some more cookies from Cakes by Noor :) Then when he got off work we went over to my mom and dads and then the 3 of us [mom, dad, me] went up to the hospital to see my great grandma who is dying :(. They gave her 48 hours. 

I went today and got me a new dress. I rarely buy myself stuff.. which is probably made clear by the amount of stuff my kids have. [pictures below to prove it!] I really really like it and Nick does too so that made me feel alot better about spending so much on me :) 

MacKenzie [2 year old]'s shirts, a few of her sweaters, and her shoes. 

Kenzie's dresses [65 of them), Mhorgan's short sleeved shirts, and Mhorgan's dresses (45 of them). 

This doesn't include their dressers.. Mhorgan has a 6 drawer dresser full of clothes and MacKenzie has a 4 drawer dresser full. yeah.. too much.

So buying me a new pair of shorts, a dress, and some jewerly really didn't make me feel too bad because normally I spend all my money on my children.  Which is good.. but sometimes a mommy needs some new stuff!!! We are going to go through our clothes and get rid of all the stuff that we {1.} Never wear, {2} doesn't ft us, {3} just don't like. I have a ton of stuff that doesn't fit me because while Nick was in Kansas city in November/ December i gained weight.. 10 pounds to be exact. It was right around the time the new birth control i started took effect so that might have something to do with it but i doubt it. I think i'm just fat. I don't even want to get into self body image because i have a horrible one. 

Moving on.

I have been trying to get out with my kids more and do stuff.. the fact that for the past week it has been super duper cold doesn't help that at all though. Maybe it will warm up this week while Nick is on vacation :)

This week we are hoping to get to go see Finnleigh, Kaya, and Zoey. Finnleigh is his brothers little girl who was born with all the problems from her delievery.. she is 6 weeks old and is getting so big!

Mhorgan is totally in love with her and so is MacKenzie. They are both asking for a baby brother/ sister almost every single day now. :-/

We are having a tangled party for the girls on the 10th. I am looking forward to it. 16 girls were invited so hopefully half of them can come at least :) We have the favor bags... my mom is making a really awesome cake.. and we are planning on movie/ cake/ snacks/ popcorn/ and just letting the girls play :)

I am so tired and have so much to do tomorrow and this weekend is going to be sooo busy.. busy day tomorrow.. busy day saturday.. and busy day sunday. Lets hope i can make it through without passing out :) I will update monday :)

boring post :)

The last few days have been busy.

Monday Nick was off work and we tried to sleep in a little bit. It is nice to do that every once in awhile.. waking up next to him is always my favorite part of the morning :) That and the snuggles I get from the girls right after they wake up :) We ate at olive garden which is always yummy. I had me some very good soup and then we went home and Nick watched the girls while I took me a good long nap. He's the best :) That evening we ran to Walmart to get some stuff and then the girls went to mom and dads and watched a movie while I cleaned house. Mhorgan was going to stay at her house that night but she ended up coming home on the agreement that she could watch sleeping beauty and stay on Wednesday. Well she ended up not even staying last night.. but that's okay.

Tuesday we went to a friends house to shoot some more of her little girl. I did a shoot for her a month back and was getting some more shots of just her little girl for her. :) After that my mom came by and picked up my girls and I went to another shoot with a family that had won a contest my Mother in law had going on with her Historytellers page. I came home from that.. which by the way was a pretty good shoot and the people were really nice.. and then cooked dinner, did some laundry, studied for the meeting, and got the girls and myself ready. Busy day but a good one.

Yesterday, [Wednesday].. We went out to a place here called the Nature Center. The kids had a really great time and so did I. We were out there for 4 hours and i got real bad sunburned on my shoulders. I hope it turns into a tan. It doesn't really hurt.. just is really red. We got home about 4 and I laid down because i have been having horrible headaches lately. I hope that goes away! and then after supper I had Mhorgan help me make cookies and then i cleaned the house and put up the 5 loads of laundry that were done. :). I was stressed out when i started but when it was done that made me happy.

Today so far I have been editing, cleaning up messes, dealing with drains leaking, washing more clothes from yesterday, and just taking care of my littles. When Nick gets home from work I am going to see if he wants to go play outside for a little bit so i can get some pictures of the girls. I always neglect that when I am in the middle of a lot of shoots.. which I am editing 4 right now and then have 2 more this weekend.

I am in need of some suggestions on how to lose weight fast... healthy. :) thanks! I will write again soon :)

Listening to songs from my past it got me thinking..... I would not change a thing about the way my life turned out. I may have done stupid things but believe me when i tell you that i learned something from every single one of those stupid things I did.. and I have a wonderful life because of where I am now... and i have Two beautiful little girls who mean everything to me.

I totally adore that song. "The best day" by Taylor swift. It makes me think so much of my girls. I can't imagine how emotional i will be the day that Mhorgan starts K. I am going to be a nervous wreck!

It is amazing to me how fast the past [almost] 5 years have gone by. 

I am going to start fresh here. I used to blog on Xanga all the time but it is totally dead and the majority of my friends on there are moving on over here :)

I have some posts from last year that I can't delete/ make private.. so if you want to, feel free to read those to get to know me a little bit better. This post will primarily be a "welcome" post for me for those of you who don't know me well to get to know me.

I am Whitney. I will be 25 in July and I have been married for 6 years [November 27th, 2004] to my best friend Nick. We started dating when i was 17 and were engaged for 3 months when we got married. It was fast but it has worked for us and proved to be the best decision we both ever made. Together we have two beautiful little girls... Mhorgan who will be 5 in May and MacKenzie who is 2 years old.

I have 5 neices who i love very much. Ivy- Kaya- Zoey- Desiree- Finnleigh. They range in age from 7 1/2 to 1 month and i adore them all. They are all very sweet girls and i do not know what i would do without any of them in my life. 

I am a stay at home wife and mommy. I spend my days cleaning, doing laundry, dancing, singing, playing outside, cooking, paying bills, teaching, reading, and just spending time with my kids. I am also a part time photographer. I love taking pictures, editing, meeting new faces, capturing a child's laughter, etc. It is so much fun! I couldn't ask for a better job then getting to stay home with my kids and to get to take pictures!

I was diagnosed in 2003 with something called Interstitial cystitis. It is hard at times.. but i don't let it define me. I have my good days and my bad days.. but i have learned to live with it.

I am addicted to Cake boss, NCIS, Teen mom, and pretty much anything else on TLC. 

I will be writing as much as i can about my kids day to day activities, their trials, their accomplishments, etc. I wouldn't change a thing :)
